Hey there, I’m Nicholas de Graffenreid – an Actor and Producer working and living in Hollywood.

Nicholas de Graffenreid was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa in 1986, the son and second child of a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. He spent his formative years in South Africa with his parents and later returned to the U.S. with his mother where he lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina until 1997. While he was growing up, Nick traveled widely both abroad and in the USA that gave him a broad immersion into foreign cultures and languages. After his father retired from the Foreign Service, Nicholas later lived in Estonia, Idaho, Texas, Washington State, and Kentucky. These many varied living situations and cross cultural experiences have helped him move confidently and easily into his characters and provide them with depth and complexity.

Having been in Los Angeles, CA for over a decade; Nicholas has been able to sharpen his skills and come into his own as a well rounded filmmaker. He has professional experience spanning across the Television, Film, Commercial, and Producing realms.

Logistics, Operations, Coordinating International Co-Productions, and handling Physical Production are strengths in his producing repertoire. Nicholas’ strong background in Business Marketing, Film Financing, and Film Investing translates well with efficient structuring of deals and making projects financially viable for Production World-Wide. Engaging in International Operations is a primary focus of his by expanding filmmakers efforts across the globe. While he has resources throughout the United States; his immediate attention is currently on European Film Projects.

Having heritage and deep family ties in Switzerland — “Schweizer Studios” Class A Film Studio Build is in development. An overall objective of Nicholas is to revolutionize filmmaking in Switzerland by providing the infrastructure in country to give filmmakers a creative haven to bring their projects to life.
